Accelerated Business Degree FAQs

Accelerated Business Degree FAQs

When does the accelerated BSB program start?

We are currently recruiting for Fall 2017. While the program is cohort-based, a review of transfer credits determines which courses you will need to take. Prerequisites and General Education courses may be completed outside of the accelerated schedule.

How long are the classes?

You will take two classes during a seven week cycle with two seven week cycles per semester. Tuesday classes will be from 5:30 p.m.–9:00 p.m. and Saturday classes will be from 8:30 a.m.–noon. When enrolled in this program, you would be considered a full-time student, which means you may be eligible for financial aid. You would also have time off throughout the year for holidays and vacations.

How much does it cost?

Tuition is based on the number of classes taken. Visit Tuition and Financial Aid for tuition rates. When checking tuition costs, students in this program are considered upper division business majors. Many employers have reimbursement programs that help subsidize the cost of the program. Additionally, scholarships, grants, and loans are available to students who qualify.

How do I enroll?

There is an admissions process that involves an application and review of prior transcripts. Visit Admission and follow instructions regarding application.

How long does it take to enroll?

Getting prior colleges to forward your transcripts can take two weeks or two months, depending upon the college and when you request, so requesting transcripts as soon as possible is important. Once we have your online application and your transcripts, a decision is made and communicated to you within several weeks. We prefer students to enroll by July 1 to secure a place in the fall class.
