Alternative Sports

Designed to introduce and expose students to a sampling of popular mainstream sports and also alternative athletic activities, Alternative Sports Camp will feature disc golf, ultimate frisbee, soccer, handball, bounce ball, mat ball, kick ball, dodge ball, pin master, flag football, and more. There will be an introduction to HIIT Training methods (High Intensity Interval Training exercise programs) and various physical challenges will safely be incorporated.  Campers will also get to experience physically challenging obstacle courses on campus.  Each day will focus on a different activity, including a review of the rules and history of each game played. Students will also spend time focusing on true sportsmanship and demonstrating respect for opponents.  Fitbits and Fitness Trackers are welcome, as this will be an athletic calorie-burning week with constant physical activity.

Mon- Fri, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
