Like many at Penn State Abington, I came from a working class family where a collegiate degree was a goal, but it was far from a certainty. Penn State Abington provided the bridge that allowed me to transition from someone who had limited skills and vague ideas about what was required to be successful to one who was well prepared to accomplish my post-collegiate goals and ambitions.
That is why I, along with many others on the Abington Alumni Society, choose to give back to the campus that impacted so much of our future. Whether you choose to volunteer time, give towards scholarships or support student activities; know that your efforts will allow every current student that walks through campus to have even more opportunities to help shape their future.
I look forward to serving as your President and seeing you back at Abington.
WE ARE … PENN STATE!
