Ms. Carol DeBunda has been with Penn State Abington since 1984. She is the Coordinator of the Career Development Center and has a Master’s degree in Guidance and Counseling, an undergraduate degree in Human Resource Development, and a Certificate in Mediation Skills. Her responsibilities include career and personal counseling to students, alumni and community members. She is committed to providing innovative career programs that have a significant impact on the development of jobs, internships and co-ops with a national and international focus, personal development, cross cultural learning, and practical experience.
Karen Carli has been providing career-related services to a wide range of clientele for the past 25 years. She has been assisting students and alumni at Penn State Abington since 2003. Prior to joining the Penn State family, she was self-employed as a career consultant. Her background includes professional resume writing. Examples of her work are published in two resume writing manuals.
Nelson has been at Penn State Abington since 2007. He has a Master's in Higher Education Counseling from West Chester University, an undergraduate degree in Psychology from James Madison University, and a Certificate in Information Sciences & Technology from Penn State. He coordinates internships for Business and Psychological & Social Sciences majors at Abington.
Before joining the Career Development Center as the Program & Job Development Coordinator, Ethel worked for nine years in Continuing Education on campus. Prior to that she was in the corporate world in market and government research. Ethel has an undergraduate degree in Psychology from Penn State University. She enjoys helping our students succeed!
Marjory joined the Career Development Center in 2007, and quickly became a mentor and an advocate for students. She has held a number of advisory roles for student organizations. Prior to Penn State Abington, Marjory worked in the education and finance industries.
