  • Tuesday, July 17
  • Wednesday, July 25

Please follow the five steps listed below so you can attend one of these dates.

Once you activate your Access Account, TSO is a four-step process to prepare for TSO:

  1. Take Your ALEKS Math Assessment (Only if instructed by an adviser)
  2. Make Your Reservation to Attend
  3. Upload Immunization Records
  4. Do Your Pre-TSO Homework

All instructions for the 4 steps above will be sent to your Penn State email and the personal email you provided on your Penn State application.

1. Take Your ALEKS Math Assessment

Completing the ALEKS Math Assessment is not required of all entering transfer students. If you are not transferring appropriate quantification coursework, you will receive an email from an Abington transfer counselor instructing you that the ALEKS Math Assessment is required for you.

All majors at the University require courses in quantification. You may not take certain courses in mathematics, statistics, or chemistry without demonstrating readiness in those courses.

There is no additional cost associated with completing the ALEKS Math Assessment.

Click here for additional information and to take your ALEKS Math Assessment.

2. Make Your Reservation to Attend

After accepting your offer of admission, an email will come directly to you at your email and the personal email you provided on your application to Penn State. You will need your Penn State Access Account to make a reservation for TSO.

TSO is for students only and there is no fee to attend. If a guest is absolutely needed to attend, please contact or 215-881-7507.
