Parking Regulations

Please read and adhere to all regulations. Violators will be ticketed.

Registered students are never considered visitors, and will be ticketed if parked in any "Visitor" space.

Permit Color Code Parking at a Glance

Commuter Student Parking Lots: Color Code - Green

Faculty & Staff Parking Lots: Color Code - Blue

Lions Gate Residence Hall Student Parking Lot: Color Code - Red

  • Lions Gate parking is restricted to authorized vehicles only.
  • There will be NO parking permits issued to ANY Lions Gate Resident student.
  • First year students are not to bring a vehicle to campus.  
  • Lions Gate parking permits can only be obtained through the Police & Public Safety Office 107 Rydal Building.
  • Unauthorized vehicles parked at Lions Gate will be ticketed.
  • Students with a red permit are only permitted to park at Lions Gate. You are NOT permitted to park in ANY other parking area


Visitors to Lions Gate Residential Facility should obtain a temporary visitors Parking Permit at the front desk. This permit must be displayed on the rear view mirror of the vehicle at all times. The visitor permit shall not be valid for no more than three consecutive days.

Commuter Student Parking

Permit Required / Color Code: Green

  • Permits must be displayed on the rear view mirror at the start of the new semester.
  • Vehicles must be parked in the designated areas on the campus map.
  • Vehicles must be between the two parking lines.
  • All vehicles are operated and parked at the risk of the operator/owner.
  • Substitute vehicles must display a temporary permit which is available in 107 Rydal Bldg.
  • Observe 15 MPH speed limit.


  • Failure to register vehicle(s) for current school year.
  • Failure to display permit properly.
  • Failure to park in designated areas, including parking in a restricted or no parking zone.
  • Others: reckless driving, removing license plate, removing permit, using old tickets to avoid detection, parking on campus between 11pm and 7am. (curfew violation)

​Traffic violations issued to vehicles registered with the Security/Safety Dept. are the responsibility of the permit holder, no matter who is operating the vehicle.
