Penn State Abington Photo of the Week: Collegiate Leadership Competition

A team of six Penn State Abington students earned second place for processing goals and teamwork and fifth place overall in the annual Collegiate Leadership Competition at Widener University last week. The judges were Widener faculty and staff, chief executive officers, and leadership institute professionals, who challenge students and help prepare them to lead in the workforce. For 10 weeks, the six Abington students practiced, building a community of like-minded leaders while learning about group dynamics, conflict resolution, communication, and problem solving. The Abington team was comprised of Peter Bilenko, Natalie Bonilla, Fanny Frias, Katherine Grinberg, Travis Jackson, and Zeyu Liu. The coaches were Kaitlin Wolfert, an academic advisor at Abington, and Kate Brice, coordinator of Student Programs in Student Engagement and Leadership.
