Calling all Junior Engineers! Join us as we take on the challenge of designing and building bridges, vehicles, and more. Legos for learning and K’nex for knowledge? Absolutely! These tools of learning facilitate concepts of problem solving, active learning, logical stimulation, and imagination. If you enjoy using your creative mind for problem solving and want to develop interpersonal skills through working in a collaborative team setting, this camp is for you! This hands-on camp is for kids who like to do! Join us as we imagine it, engineer it, and make it go!
This camp focuses on:
- Encouraging innovative and imaginative thinkers
- Making connections to real life problem solving by integrating STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) and the engineering design process
- Engaging in activities that include Legos and K’Nex
- Fostering a foundation for future study in engineering, math, and other STEM subjects
