ISM logoThe supply management certificate program prepares students to obtain their certification in supply management (Certified Professional in Supply Management® (CPSM®) from the Institute of Supply Management® (ISM®).

Designed for the purchasing professional, the three required courses are designed to enhance technical competence and overall knowledge of practical applications.

Skills and techniques learned throughout the program can be used immediately to enhance the supply chain process and improve your company’s bottom line.

Starting Spring 2019! Course delivery will be via Zoom, allowing students to participate remotely or on campus!

Foundation of Supply Management (3 week session)

The Foundation of Supply Management course will cover several traditional areas of concern for supply management, from a lead­ing-edge perspective, in today’s global competitive environment.  From contracting and negotiation, cost and finance, and international business, to social responsibility, sourcing and supplier relationship management this course is essential to establish a solid foundation and maintain an effective supply chain within any organization.

Effective Supply Management Performance (3 week session)

The Effective Supply Management Performance course will focus on operational issues that are part of successful supply manage­ment performance. The latest surveys show that supply management professionals oversee an expanding list of responsibilities.  From forecasting, logistics, and materials and inventory management, to organization assessment, planning, product development, project management and quality, the course will enable effective management of the supply chain in order to maximize customer value.

Leadership in Supply Management (3 week session)

The Leadership in Supply Management course will focus on many of the human resources issues that supply management professionals face. From leadership, risk and compliance, to strategic sourcing, these tasks are critical to making supply chain management a strategic part of business operations. This course will cover social responsibility, ethical issues and spend analysis.
