Information for International Students

The Office of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion serves international students by assisting with all required legal documentation and services for non-immigrant students on F-1 and J-1 status at Penn State University, Abington Campus.

U.S. Presidential Executive Orders Concerning the International Community

The University Office of Global Programs has created an information page which outlines the most information from President Trump’s Executive Order on Immigration that  has the potential for significant impact on a segment of our international student/scholar and faculty population.

This page will be updated with any new information regarding the order and offers a UPGlobal contact who can respond to questions from/for our current international students and scholars.

We are a resource for prospective, new and current international students.  Our staff provides help and information on the admissions process, as well as assistance with tutoring, advising, housing and travel needs to enable a smooth transition to campus life at Penn State Abington.

The Office of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion is committed to making international students feel at home while they pursue their academic goals at Penn State Abington.  Several year-round programs and services are available to help students with orientation, peer mentoring, social and cultural issues.

We also provide several opportunities and programs to explore, learn and grow. To make the most of your Penn State experience, we encourage our international students to fully immerse themselves in the educational, recreational and cultural activities available at Penn State Abington and the Philadelphia area.
