The Penn State women's handball team won the national championship in its first season. Two of the team's coaches are from the College of Earth and Mineral Sciences.

Art students at Penn State Abington launch their replica of the Poseidon while the Nautilus floats just behind it.

Students in a sculpture class for first-year art major created a six-foot long replica of the cruise ship Poseidon from the 1970s film "The Poseidon Adventure" using cardboard, hot glue, and duct tape.
