Part of their "Alternative Spring Break" program, they also worked at Pine Ridge Indian Reservation on a cabin - sanding, painting, clearing debris, rebuilding a porch and doing other maintenance while learning about the Lakota Indian culture.
Penn State Abington will host a forum, "Enhancing Addiction Recovery: Reducing the Stigma," on March 24 that will bring survivors, researchers, and thought leaders together to focus on solutions to addiction.
Freedom of expression is under attack worldwide. A Penn State Abington scholar and an accomplished student will discuss its ramifications including the legal, social, and policy nuances that often render finding the “right answer” to these issues difficult.
