Transfer Students are those who have obtained their high school diploma or equivalent and who have attempted 18 or more credits at another accredited college or university.
International Students are students who are not U.S. citizens or permanent residents and require any form of visa to attend Penn State.
Adult Students are students who are 24 years old or older, have been out of high school for four or more years, have children, or are military veterans.
Veteran Students will find that Penn State Abington is a military-friendly college, approved by the Department of Veterans Affairs. Over 100 veterans attend Penn State Abington.
Returning/Re-enrollment Students are former Penn State students who have taken a leave of absence from the University and want to resume degree candidacy.
Change of Campus Students are current Penn State students enrolled at another campus location who want to transition to Penn State Abington.
High School Dual Enrollment Students are high school juniors or seniors who are interested in taking college courses for credit on campus.
