Advocating For Foster Youth Success
The mission of the Fostering Lions Program is to support students entering Penn State from the foster care system by providing ongoing coaching, connecting students to university services and developing skills for post-college success.
Services Offered By the Fostering Lions Program:
- Financial Support- financial aid and financial literacy counseling
- Social/ Emotional Support- counseling, psychological, medical services, life skills workshops, campus recreation
- Logistic support- housing, transportation, legal childcare
