Dr. Maryam Roshanaei has a Ph.D. in Computer networks from Kingston University, England. She is currently a lecturer in Cybersecurity, Offensive security & Ethical Hacking, Cyber law and Cyber forensics. Before joining Penn State, she was an associate professor at the University of Greenwich, England.

Dr. Roshanaei is an experienced and passionate university professor with 18 years experience developing and teaching undergraduate and graduate level courses in Data Communication and Networking, Cybersecurity, Mobile Technologies, Internet privacy and surveillance and Computer Forensics and Crime.

She is an active researcher with expertise in Future Network (FN), Cybersecurity, Computer Forensics and Crime, Internet privacy and surveillance. She is also an active member of numerous Data Communication standards committees in the roles of Committee Chair and Principal Expert on a range of applied research projects including Future Network (FN), Mobility and Service Composition.
