Penn State celebrated the accomplishments of graduates during its spring 2021 commencement ceremonies May 7 through May 9. This spring the University awarded approximately 14,400 diplomas to students University-wide who are completing associate, baccalaureate, master, law, doctoral and medical degrees. All figures listed are estimates as of April 5; totals do not include the Pennsylvania College of Technology.

Penn State Abington hosted the Class of 2021 and their loved ones at two graduation ceremonies on Friday, May 7.

The comics in COVID Chronicles feature different visual styles and approaches ranging from humor to anger to deeply personal reflection.

COVID Chronicles, due out in early 2021, includes stories by more than 40 comics artists working in a wide range of styles.

Susan Squier, who has studied the visual language of graphic novels for many years, now keeps a comic journal as a way to experience firsthand the power of comics to describe events and express ideas.
