This spring Penn State awarded almost 14,000 diplomas to students University-wide who are completing associate, baccalaureate, master’s, law, doctoral and medical degrees, bringing the University’s number of graduates to an estimated total of more than 800,000. Many of the University's graduates received their degrees at campuses other than University Park. Penn State Abington students traveled to five very different places during spring break 2017, but all count their experiences as life-changing. Three groups flew across the Atlantic for courses requiring short-term study abroad. Two other groups stayed in the country, deepening their commitment to service and leadership. Students, faculty and staff at Penn State campuses across the Commonwealth gathered Oct. 6 to help kick off "All In at Penn State: A Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion."
