Michael Lavetsky, the program chair of the rehabilitation and human services major and a licensed professional counselor with extensive experience in chemical dependency treatment, will coordinate the Collegiate Recovery Program.

The Collegiate Recovery Program at Penn State Abington aims to help reduce stigma around alcohol and drug misuse while giving students resources to achieve and sustain recovery going forward.

Penn State York celebrated its 2024 spring graduates on Friday, May 3, in the Pullo Family Performing Arts Center on campus. Rebecca Mauck, pictured next to the Nittany Lion mascot, received two diplomas, having earned a bachelor of science in business as well as project and supply chain management. She is a Graham Fellow and Future Business Leader of America Collegiate Honored Graduate.
