Provost Award

The Provost Award, which is dedicated to Pennsylvania residents, ranges between $5,000 (for freshmen and sophomores) and $7,000 (for juniors and seniors).

The Provost Award follows a student if the student transitions to another Commonwealth Campus or to University Park.

Scholarship consideration is given to U.S. students with a minimum 3.0 GPA (on a 4.0 scale) and a combined minimum SAT score of 1000 (Reading and Math).

For priority scholarship consideration, students must submit an admission application with academic credentials by November 30 with Penn State Abington as their first choice campus.

No separate scholarship application is needed.

Students must enroll at Penn State Abington as degree-seeking, full-time students to be eligible.

Some scholarships are awarded based on academic merit and demonstrated financial need. We recommend you complete the FAFSA at fafsa.gov by December 1.
