ABINGTON, Pa. — Penn State Abington women's tennis player Michelle Mirjani earned the North Eastern Athletic Conference's Women's Tennis Student Athlete of the Week honor. The sophomore contributed to the team's success over Holy Family University by earning a pair of wins and not dropping a set.

Mirjani partnered with teammate Marta Tymchenko to win at No. 1 doubles with a score of 6-1. She continued her undefeated weekend by winning at No. 2 singles against Holy Family's Latifah Hinawy with 6-3 and 6-1 victories.

In addition to women's tennis, the men's soccer, women's soccer, men's tennis, and women's volleyball teams were in action. Here are Penn State Abington's athletics scores and achievements for the week beginning Sept. 14:
