ABINGTON, Pa. — When severe weather strikes Penn State Abington, one can stay informed of delays and cancellations by using the PSUAlert system, Facebook, Twitter, the home page of the Abington website, the Abington weather page, or by calling 215-881-SNOW (7669). 

See below for Abington's policies regarding delays and early closures.

10 a.m. Opening Policy (two-hour delay)

Classes and activities will start at 10 a.m.
Classes and activities ending before 10 a.m. are canceled for the day.
Classes and activities that start before 10 a.m. but end after 10 a.m. will start at 10 a.m. and end at the regular time.

Noon Opening Policy (four-hour delay)

Classes and activities will start at noon.
Classes and activities ending before noon are canceled for the day.
Classes and activities that start before noon but end after noon will start at noon and end at the regular time.

Cancellation timetable

The campus aims to make opening decisions by 6 a.m.
