Abington alumnus joins race for Philadelphia City Council

It wasn’t that long ago that Philadelphia native and 2007 Penn State Abington graduate Isaiah Thomas was taking classes and shooting hoops on campus. Today, he’s busy knocking on doors trying to get the word out to his Olney neighbors that he’s their man for City Council. If Thomas makes it to City Hall, he’ll join another Penn State alumnus in city politics, 1989 graduate Seth Williams, Philadelphia’s district attorney.
