Spring will arrive with a flourish at Penn State Abington the first week of April.
The Opera Lecture Series will feature Puccini’s renowned and romantic “Tosca” at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, April 3, in 112 Woodland Building on campus. Moylan C. Mills, professor emeritus of integrative arts, will provide his usual lively commentary. Admission is $10, payable at the door. Light refreshments will be served at intermission.
The talents of Penn State Abington’s senior art and integrative art majors will be on display at the annual Student Exhibition. The artists will be available to discuss their work and their future plans at the opening reception from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, April 8, at the Abington Art Center, 515 Meetinghouse Road, Jenkintown, Pa.
