Penn State Abington student art exhibition at Abington Art Center

Penn State Abington senior art and integrative arts majors will stage and exhibit their work on April 7 through April 18 at the Abington Art Center. The public can join the artists at the opening reception of the student exhibition from 5 to 7 p.m. on April 7. Light refreshments will be served at the event; to register, call 215-881-7800.

"We are very pleased to have this opportunity for our students at Abington Art Center," said Bonnie Levinthal, associate professor of art and integrative arts. "This will prove invaluable for their future professional careers."

Student exhibitors include Brian Kane, Diana Wu, Alyxa Calfayan and Robin Lada. Kane's art studies focus on fine arts and museum studies. He has created a print installation exploring the conceptual mechanics of the printing process. Wu's area of study is painting and drawing, and Calfayan and Lada both are sculpture majors.
