Those with an interest in psychological science will be introduced to the science of the mind and behavior. The program includes numerous experiential activities that complement the curriculum of a typical high school psychology course.
Camp Objectives:
- To introduce students to the themes of psychology that might be found in a high school or college introductory course
- To teach students how the scientific method is used in behavioral science
- To expose students to various psychological phenomena while providing the theoretical rationale for each
- Topics covered include: memory, cognition, sensation & perception, consciousness, personality, learning, the nervous system, and more
