Book Assemblage Art

Explore a new, inventive way of creating art! Book assemblage art, which involves using 2-D and 3-D art on pages of a book, allows you to create your very own, unique book! This course is designed to help inspire you with learning new and different art techniques you might not have experienced yet. Techniques included (but not limited to) are assemblage, painting, drawing, printmaking, and origami. We will be utilizing a variety of materials such as fabric, wallpaper, yarn, paint, feathers, and found objects. This camp is perfect for those who want to foster their imagination and art skills in a new way. Come join in the fun and create a new chapter in your life as an artist!

Meet Your Instructor:

Cristin Harrington
Cristin has been a camp instructor for many years now. This will be her 10th year at Penn State Abington! Originally from Flourtown, Cristin studied Art Education at the Tyler School of Art and is in her 17th year teaching art in the Philadelphia School District. Her hobbies include coaching and playing soccer, basketball, history and art.
