Penn State Abington Interim Chancellor Andrew August, Lloyd Morgan, and Judy Newman, associate professor of Human Development and Family Studies and Bioethics and Health Humanities. Newman nominated Morgan for the alumni award.
Penn State Abington's Charles Langley competed on the 4x400-meter relay team, which set a new Abington record finishing in 3:52.69 at the Ursinus College Track and Field Festival.
Penn State Abington student Sierrarose Biello received the Bertha Lear Purchase Award for Best in Show for Portrait of High God Bluca, oil on canvas, 16″ x 20″. A select piece of her body of work will become part of the permanent art collection at Abington.
