Abington debuts maker space/innovation hub

Penn State Abington LaunchBox at the Abington Art Center intentionally blurs the boundaries between analog and digital, art and science, traditional and experimental. Computers, laser and vinyl cutters, and 3D printers live side-by-side with sewing machines, saws, and tools of all description.

Wi-Fi calling now supported at Penn State

To enable cellular calls in areas with weak carrier coverage or in buildings with spotty reception, Voice over Wireless, or Wi-Fi calling, is now supported at Penn State through the University’s primary cellular vendors: AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile and Sprint.

The Penn State Abington Class of 2016 is the largest and one of the most distinguished in the college's history: 55 graduated with distinction (including a "Wheel of Fortune" winner!), five valedictorians, five Schreyer Honors College medal recipients, and four earned concurrent degrees.
