Education majors honored at Abington

Penn State Abington faculty last night initiated 16 elementary and early childhood education majors into the the Alpha Eta Lambda Chapter of the Kappa Delta Pi International Honor Society in Education. The keynote speaker, a veteran educator, shared advice to the new society members.

Meet the Air Force veteran and Penn State Abington student who marched 11 miles on Veterans Day (11-11-16), setting out before dawn to symbolize the darkness that leads dozens of veterans to commit suicide each day in the United States.

Eight selected to receive Distinguished Alumni Awards in 2017

The Penn State Board of Trustees on Nov. 4 selected eight Penn State alumni to receive the Distinguished Alumni Award, the University's highest honor presented to its alumni. The following individuals will be officially notified of their selection by the board and invited to accept the award from the University in June 2017.
