Unleash your creativity and technical skills in the PSU Abington Smart Systems Competition! This exciting event invites all Abington students regardless of your experience with technology, to design and build cool projects using Raspberry Pi Zero or Arduino Uno. This is a great opportunity to explore hands-on programming and create something amazing!

A Raspberry Pi is a compact, powerful computer that can run complex software to manage sensors and automate tasks, while an Arduino Uno is a straightforward microcontroller board ideal for building cool hardware projects by directly controlling sensors and devices
Get ready to brainstorm ideas, build prototypes, and present your projects in categories such as home automation, environmental monitoring, health monitoring, smart agriculture, etc. Prizes will be awarded for the most innovative, functional, and well-presented projects! The top prize is a $150 Amazon gift card, with second place receiving $100 and third place $50.
First 15 registered participants can borrow starter kits that include Raspberry Pi or Arduino, and sensor kits on November 4th and 5th. Alternatively, you can buy the following from Amazon to participate in the competition. These kits are great to explore hardware programming.
